Description
In this role, you will help create and oversee branded content (site, social, and newsletter) for The Everymom: from brainstorming concepts to assignment, production, creation, brand feedback, go live, and ending with metric reporting. The role of Branded Content Editor is heavily rooted in creativity while also focused on producing tangible results for partners. This role also requires a high level of organization as you will be working with multiple teams while keeping concurrent campaigns on deadline. You’ll be responsible for maintaining The Everymom’s voice and tone while playing a pivotal role in the growth of The Everymom. Responsibilities
Work closely with the sales team to conceptualize new and unique campaigns that help win new business
Create campaigns from ideation to execution across all platforms that best serve client goals while remaining in-line with editorial best practices
Work with the sales, editorial, and social teams on campaign development
Ability to work quickly and efficiently and pitch new, exciting ideas on a consistent basis
Compile and analyze all data and reporting metrics for branded content for internal team and brand partners.
Keep multiple, concurrent campaigns on deadline
Organize and lead weekly meetings with branded content stakeholders delivering updates, reporting, and brainstorms
Editorial
Help oversee the branded content calendar for editorial team
Work with the editorial team to assign and source writers, photographers, and freelancers as needed
Conceptualize and write original branded content campaigns that translate clients’ objectives into engaging content including first party narratives
Edit and help manage client feedback on all branded content
Social
Collaborate with social media team to create concepts and develop materials for clients
Help oversee the branded content calendar for social
Create social copy and deliverables for campaigns including filming original video and still photography content
Edit and manage client feedback on all social content
Newsletter
Brainstorm new and fresh content for weekly and dedicated newsletter that can be sold to brand partners
Help oversee all elements of the branded content process including scheduling, concepting, partner approvals, and reporting
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in lifestyle, parenting, and/or branded content editorial at a publisher. Preferably you have worked with a mix of adult and children’s brands
Enthusiasm for appearing on-camera bringing branded content to life (photo, social, and/or video)
A proven ability to wear many hats and juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously
Experience creating social media content
Ability to translate our partners brand story into an engaging and rich piece of content for The Everymom’s platforms

A self starter and a team player
Requirements
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Experience and comfort in a nimble, fast-paced start-up environment on a highly collaborative team
Commitment to diversity

Enjoys applying analytical data to creative concepting to ensure ROI for partners
Preferred
Experience with Asana, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, Excel and sponsored social media tools is a plus
Interest in, knowledge of, and experience with children’s and motherhood focused products
Knowledge and experience creating on social media platforms, especially Instagram
Have your finger on the pulse of trends in the motherhood and children’s space
Experience creating content for a variety of client categories
